I have had my music teaching studio since 1977. I started teaching in Ann Arbor, Michigan and since 1990 in Austin Texas.
I have much recording experience in Nashville, Austin Texas, Boston and Detroit. I teach beginners and advanced students that want to get ready to make a demo. I have helped people to get prepared to audition for American Idol, The Voice and America's got Talent.  But if you want to take lessons just for yourself as a hobby, You are welcome too!

You have a choice of learning to read music or to play by ear or even both! There are many ways to learn how to play guitar and is very much depends on each person how is the best way to learn and have a good time with it.

I teach Flute, Guitar and Voice lessons. Young and Old and In Between! All Ages! 
I was born into a musical family of University music professors. I've studied with some of the best teachers in the USA coming from a musical family. 100% of my work history has been teaching, performing and recording. I love to share my passion for music with others.

Lisa helped me get through my teenage years. Her voice lessons healed me and when I learned I actually could sing, it gave me the courage to get solos and leading roles at high school, where I was nothing but a quiet weirdo. With voice lessons, I was that weirdo who was the best singer in my home town. Thanks Lisa!

I have been taking vocal training lessons with Lisa. It was a wonderful experience! The teacher offered many voice training techniques and gave me recordings to practice daily at home - very useful gradual techniques. The teacher is very knowledgeable and encouraging. In class we practiced singing along with the recordings of the favorite singers. Highly recommending Lisa for the vocal training.
