Motto: We Can Succeed Together!!! Began tutoring in the summer of 2009 with accounting students to help them understand the principles of debits and credits and journal entries. I have worked with children as young as 5 years old with learning how to tell time, count money. I have my BS and Masters in Accounting and have been working in Accounting since 2007. I have a number of resources that I use to explain various concepts and provide examples. Math is a strong subject for me as I walk students through ways of solving a problem. I will explain it how it is done in the book and give a different perspective on solving the same problem. I like to use flash cards to help with memorization. I also try to provide as many real-life business examples to help explain journal entries. I also like to test/quiz my students to see of they really are understanding the concepts. I am one to build confidence, reassurance, and positive feedback. I want to make sure that you fully understand the concept(s) before moving on.
