*** Travel Equipment *** I expect my students to provide a notebook for their weekly lesson plan. Pens, pencils, and highlighters. I pick up the music for them and work out payment later. I also bring stickers for the kids books when they finish a piece. *** Specialties *** I teach mainly from the Faber and Faber books, but I also teach out of Alfred and Adult books. I have my students doing pieces out of a lesson, recital, or performance book, as well as a theory/technique. I am a big believer in letting them pick a piece of their choice to work on, along with their assignments. They are required to do scales, and sometimes flashcards and sight reading. I just want learning to be fun, as well as educational. I truly enjoy teaching and my students have always reflected my enjoyment.
