I was born and raised in Israel before leaving to attend Pace University in New York where I played for the Women’s Basketball team and graduated with a bachelors degree in International Business. Soon after graduating I returned to Israel where I played basketball professionally for the Israeli Women’s National team and worked as an accountant for the top insurance firm in Israel, Migdal, I’ve since returned to the USA and have embraced the opportunity to dive into my passion of teaching.
My family and I recently made the cross-country move from Washington, DC to the Bay Area three months ago. Before relocating, I was the lead Pre-K4 teacher at a Hebrew immersive charter school, Sela. There, I had the great opportunity of implementing my unique style of teaching as the curriculum developer.
I have experience working with a variety of ages at all levels (Beginner to advanced). I practice the proffecincy approach which promotes the use of the authentic language in order to be effective and exciting simultaneously. The main objective is to constantly expose the student to the language by listening, speaking, writing, and reading. I am certified with 3 years of experience with Sopa, Ellopa, and Cope which are all assessments curriculums designed to determine what students can do with the target language.
