I have a Master of Arts degree in Geography from California State University, Northridge, where I graduated with distinction. My specialty is GIS, which is a way of using computer software to make and analyze maps. However, in my coursework I studied everything from human geography to the geography of air pollution and everything in between. I work with maps every day in my work as a GIS consultant. I also have extensive experience as a tutor, and have worked with students of all ages and levels. It is important to me that I get to know my students on a personal level, so I can cater lessons to their individual goals/learning styles.
