Singing can make you feel powerful, elegant and whole. With more applications than you can shake a mike at, learning to sing can give you confidence in all aspects of your life! My lessons focus on the whole picture--you'll learn to control your breath (sing with power!), to switch between head and chest voice without resorting to awkward transitions (sing with elegance!), and to use your whole body as your instrument for your best performance, whether that's on stage at karaoke or in the shower at home. Best of all, I'll give you tools and recordings to help you practice on your own. I also love answering all your burning questions about singing, the history of voice, and why your voice in particular does that funny thing (and how to use it to your stylistic advantage). Adults and children of all ages welcome.

The best teaching is all about tailoring to the individual needs of the student--that's where I come in. As an alumna of Wesleyan University and the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome, I  have 8 years' experience tutoring Latin, Voice and a variety of other subjects to students young and old. My goal is for every student to look forward to lessons that are fun, varied, and educational in surprising ways. I'm also happy to answer any personalized questions before we get started.
