Hey there! My name is Miss Lindsey and I am so excited to work with you! I started playing piano at the age of 5 and I still remember all of my instructors, so I know how important it is to have a good relationship with my students. I specialize in teaching all the necessary basics to beginner students ages 5-10. I do not usually work with students outside of this age group but I will teach kids under the age of 5 if they meet the necessary requirements! As my students develop their skills, I aim to expose them to all music styles and then cater to whichever style they favor!

When I turned 14, I decided to expand my musical horizons and I learned how to play multiple percussion instruments including drums, marimba, and vibraphone! I noticed that having played piano for so long provided me with a great advantage in picking up new instruments quickly- it is a great beginner's instrument! To continue challenging myself, I currently teach myself classical music. For fun, I enjoy playing anything written by Andrew Lloyd Webber (musicals). I am so excited to teach my students and watch their love for music grow as mine has!
