Become more familiar with Chemistry concepts with a General Chemistry Tutor
I’ve had a keen interest in Chemistry for 20 years and served as a TA in college for General Chemistry. My favorite topics include Atomic Structure, Periodicity, and Acid/Base reactions, but I have the knowledge and education to teach anything from middle school up to second year college level. Students can expect to learn from a calm, relaxed and engaging teacher who has an inordinate energy and passion for Chemistry!
About Lindsay L.

I graduated from Boise State University with a BA in Business and worked for a semiconductor manufacturing facility before taking some time off to raise my child at home. I’m a lifelong “student” and enjoy any opportunity I can find to try out a new skill or learn about an interesting topic. I strongly believe that a good, well-rounded education is the basis for a thriving society and I would encourage everyone to be lifelong learners. Chemistry has been my favorite science since I was a teenager. I love the logic and predictability of chemical behavior and I get a lot of satisfaction when working through mathematical problems associated with chemical reactions. Too often it’s seen as a difficult science, but I would be thrilled to break it down into manageable, easier to understand pieces that anyone can comprehend and appreciate. My favorite thing to do with my spare time is sewing and quilting. I run a longarm quilting business from my home and enjoy helping others to finish their quilts; ready to place on a bed or snuggle with on a couch. Although my passion is in quilting, I also enjoy making simple garments (although I haven’t shied away from making a few bridesmaid dresses in my time!!) and totes/bags amongst other things.
