Art is fun! There is an artist in everyone of us. The best art teacher is one who finds the artist in every student, finds a away to teach them to enjoy art, and builds self confidence through creative lessons and positive feedback. I have taught students from ages 12 to 85. I love to see each student progress and love what they do. The greatest joy for me is to find a student that eventually surpasses my skills. For those who are missing out on art in high school due to budget cuts, I only hope that you continue your talents through private lessons. I am here to support you as well. If you are preparing a portfolio for college, I would love to help you as well. For those who are just starting out, and need some guidance, you have come to the right place. As a former public school teacher, and professional artist, I bring many skills to the table and hope to pass them on to you as well. Some of these areas include drawing, acrylic painting, color pencil techniques, pastel pencils, and working with paper art, and color theory. All of these can be taught online via one on one and prerecorded video lessons to compliment each lesson.
