    About Linda G.

I started sewing because I was too tall for clothing offered for my age. As soon as I started sewing, my Mother wanted me to make her fancy dress for the local dances. And that was the beginning. By high school, I was the student teacher in the sewing class. Since them I have made bridal gowns, fancy dress gowns, dresses and other garments as well as home decor (pillows, slip covers, duvet covers and more.) I can help you with learning your machine, fixing a pattern, basic and advanced sewing and alterations. To me sewing is a journey - i know that sounds dumb - but everything we make teaches us a new technique. From learning to sew a straight line to making bound button holes. Hand finishing is also something I can teach you so the inside is as beautiful as the outside and you will have a garment that will last you until it is Threadbare.
