I have played piano for over 60 years and have accompanied soloists and choirs, both in church and college. I have played organ in the past for several churches. I love creating music at the piano. I learned later on in my life after working and earning a living doing "other jobs" that teaching piano is really where my heart and passion is. I love seeing the growth and progress being made with my students and enjoy working with my students on an individual basis. My hope is to create an enjoyment of playing the piano in my students as much as I do. To create an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment in my teaching. Former students and parents have commented on how flexible and easy I am to work with. I am very approachable and patient with my students and families. I love each and every one of them.

Mrs. Edwards is a great teacher who brings in broad insight and experience during each lesson. She was instrumental in re-igniting the passion for piano in our daughter when she had a big gap in her lessons and had several distractions. Mrs. Edwards is very patient in dealing with children who can easily lose interest or get distracted. She can adjust the pace of the lessons to suit to the child's grasping capabilities and work with them achieve success. She is also very good in teaching piano to adults and I had the opportunity to get initiated into piano by her. We highly recommend Mrs. Edwards for your piano lessons.
