Hello and welcome to my studio!
Evergreen Piano Studio provides both in studio and online piano lessons through Skype.
If you are taking lessons in studio, you will be playing on a very nice Yamaha upright acoustic piano. My studio is comfortable, a little quaint and has a waiting room for parents and siblings. My teaching style is demonstrator/facilitator, and I am a calm and patient teacher. If you're not put off by animals, (a dog and a couple of cats to be exact), come and see me for a consultation.
If you are interested in online Skype lessons, all you will need for set up is the Skype program downloaded, and a laptop, or (desktop in close proximity of the keyboard). Extra cameras and microphones may be added but are not necessary as long as I have a good view of the keyboard. Also, printer scanning capability for theory homework is recommended. I work off of a Yamaha digital DGX 650 and offer a comprehensive curriculum which includes some or all of the following: Core lesson, technique, theory, ear-training, sight-reading, scales and chords, lead sheets and basic composition. Understanding that everyone is unique, the curriculum may be customized upon request or need.

Ms. Linda was such a blessing to our daughter! I was always impressed with her enthusiasm and passion for teaching piano. We appreciated the many ways she challenged our daughter as a piano player, and how encouraging she was along the way. She is an excellent piano teacher for sure, and I would highly recommend her!

My friend, whose son received a music scholarship as well as enjoyed his piano lessons highly, recommended Linda to me. Lindaâs great experience and personal methodologies guide students in the shortest way to success and brings an appreciation of music into their lives. No moments during her lessons are wasted for unrelated matters â she always keeps students focused by moving from one activity to another, and by being friendly and encouraging. She is always flexible with her schedule and pleasant to work with.
She is a rare instructor who works hard to give students the opportunity to perform in public venues a few times a year (the most favorite moments to my boys), which make children self-confident and proud to demonstrate the fruit of their effort.

My children have been with Linda since they started piano at age 5, they are now 16 & 14. They simply love her. I appreciate her willingness to flex to their different styles of learning and engagement. I gave both the option to stop lessons after 8th grade, neither one wanted to stop so as a Junior & Freshman in high school they are still with Linda.

My children have been taking piano lessons at Evergreen Piano Studio since 2013. I know for sure that this place is the right place for my children because they don't complain about going or wanting to quit. Ms. Linda has a calm personality and provides honest and direct feedback to the children on where they need to improve and the method for improving. Since our children have been taking lessons at Evergreen Piano Studio, their knowledge and performance has significantly improved. Excellent teacher and mentor for our children.
Professional, comprehensive, and personalized study of the piano. Her years of experience are obvious in her ability to approach each student as an individual with a unique learning style. Thanks for giving us the gift of music! --Sandra S.
