    I offer piano lessons to students all ages from beginner to advance level. A native of Indonesia, Dr. Linda Angkasa is an active performer and has given a number of recitals in the United States, France, United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. An avid chamber musician, she has performed with vocal, string, wind, brass, percussion, and mixed ensembles in recitals and opera productions. Linda has collaborated with pianist Brian Connelly, baritone Marcus DeLoach, cellist Lachezar Kostov and Tom Landschoot, violinist Yi Zhao and Xiaoxiao Qiang, clarinetist Lin Ma and Ivan Valbuena, saxophonist Calvin Wong, among others. She was also a staff pianist for the Longhorn Choir Camp, Butler Opera Center Young Artist Program, and Castlemann Quartet Program. She has performed in masterclasses presented by international concert artists such as Pascal Roge, Philippe Bianconi, Erik Etawasts, Roy Howat, Jeremy Young, and Sa Chen. Having been heavily involved with new music, Linda has premiered multiple solo, collaborative, and chamber contemporary music including works by Charles Halka, Rob McClure, Ben Krause, Stephen Bachicha, Sam Lipman, Zhangyi Chen, Emily Koh, among others. Dr. Angkasa was the first prizewinner at the Baltimore Music Club Competition. Dr. Angkasa also received Paulie Favin Memorial Award in Piano, as well as Grace Clagett Ranney Prize in Chamber Music in 2009 during her study at Peabody. Dr. Angkasa was the first Indonesian graduated with first class Honors from YST Conservatory of Music in July of 2007. In her hometown Medan, she was the first prizewinner of the Yamaha National Competition X in 1995, as well as the first prizewinner of the 50th-Year Anniversary of Lembaga Musik Murni in 2000. In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.
