Why do I love the Ukulele? Because it makes me happy! It is just about impossible to not be happy when playing the uke! I also love the uke because it is easy to play, but can also challenge you to add new techniques and skills at every level of play. It’s a wonderful instrument to accompany singing, and there is nothing I like better than strumming my uke and singing on the back deck with a cold drink (or playing my waterproof uke on my paddle board, or playing and singing with a group of friends on a backpack trip). I understand that there are many people out there who would love to play an instrument but maybe got turned off by hours and hours of music theory in school or playing Mary Had a Little Lamb ad nauseum when you’d love to play what you hear on the radio. I can help you learn the basics quickly and progress to being able to jam with your friends or play your favorite music.
