Flute with Lily J.

Lily is an active flute and piccolo player, freelancing with various orchestras across the US such as The New York Philharmonic, Baltimore Symphony, Florida Grand Opera, Richmond Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, South Dakota Symphony, Palm Beach Symphony, Boise Philharmonic, and Midland Symphony. She was the piccolo fellow at Aspen Music Festival from 2017-2019 and won the 2019 Walfrid Kujala International Piccolo Competition. She received her Masters degree in 2017 from Peabody Conservatory in Piccolo Performance studying under Laurie Sokoloff. She previously received her Bachelors of Music in 2015 in Flute Performance from Boston University under Linda Toote. She has played in concert halls such as Symphony Hall in Boston, Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Smetana and Dvorak Hall in Prague, and the Berlin Philharmonic Hall. She was a finalist for the concerto competitions at Boston University (2015) and the Miami Summer Music Festival (2013).
