Vocal Training with Lia B.

I am a professional jazz vocalist, voice teacher, session singer, and bunny mom. I grew up around music and have loved to sing for as long as I can remember. I believe that exposure to music is the best way to learn how to do it. My parents are both singers so, naturally, we sang together around the house, in the car, etc. I believe this exposure is what gave me the drive to become the performer and teacher I am today. Hands Down. I started out singing show tunes with my dad and classic rock/rock with my mom. I taught myself how to play guitar in middle school and this is when the solo-performer in me really started to develop. High school gave me choral music and folk/pop and college gave me jazz. Jazz is my main gig. I have been singing jazz music since 2010 and transformed into a full fledged jazzer along the way. I believe that doing what you love to do can transform your whole outlook on life and work. I do what I love and that is all I can ask for.
