Hello, I'm Levi! I am a guitar teacher in Tallahassee, FL and I am glad to be a part of TakeLessons.com. I have 4 years of teaching experience and have proudly taught several students in many cities. Teaching is a passion of mine and I offer a diverse set of styles to learn from; classical, country, rock, metal, blues and pop. I have over 10 years of guitar experience and wish to help others with that experience. Thank you and I hope I hear from you soon! *** Lesson Details *** My students can expect me to patient and relaxed, but I also don't allow any procrastination. I try to set a strong example of discipline with practicing as well. I teach out of several classical guitar, music theory and guitar method books. I prefer my students to learn how to read music if they don't already know how to, but I have no problem with teaching tablature. After 3 months of my instruction my students will have learned the fundamentals of basic to intermediate guitar techniques. This work can be tedious but with a good attitude and outlook my students will excel in guitar playing. *** Studio Equipment *** practice rooms w/ piano seating for parents *** Travel Equipment *** I provide copies of pieces for the first few lessons as well as an extra guitar, but after those lessons I expect the students to have purchased the required literature and instrument. *** Specialties *** Classical, Metal, Hard Rock, Classic Rock.
