I am a professional clarinetist and band director and I have been teaching for many years! I have taught every age and every level and I can help you reach your goals, whether they are to play the clarinet for fun, move up in your school ensemble, or prepare for an important audition or recital. I will identify areas of your playing that you need to work on and provide a systematic approach for improvement. I currently teach both college students and middle school students, and I have been told that I am very patient, kind and passionate about music and the clarinet. I am also an adjudicator for clarinet auditions in Southern California, and will be able to help you with tone, technique, agility, articulation and musicality. You will see a big improvement in your playing under my tutelage, because I know exactly what other conductors are looking for, and I have been in your shoes!
