Hey there! Thanks for reading my profile! I am so excited to work with you and share my passion for creating custom items through sewing! I got my first machine when I was nine years old! It was instant joy! I love teaching! I love sharing tricks and helping others make their dream projects come true. As a mom and grandma I have enjoyed teaching my own kids to sew. I also work as a Birth Doula (coaching) and substitute teacher. I have owned my own in-home sewing business where I performed wedding alterations, general alterations and custom sewing. My greatest love is to instruct students in the art of quilting and sewing. The accomplishment of a student's successfully finished project is such a highlight! As a mother of twelve (* seven boys and five girls) I have created 75% of my families wardrobe as well as quilts, gifts, diapers, jackets, pillows, purses, backpacks, workout wear, couch slip covers, curtains, toys, dolls...etc, There is nothing so satisfying then the ability to create something unique that you love.
