French with Lena M.

I am a graduate student majoring in Music Performance for the Flute. Recently, I graduated from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania with degrees in both Music Education and Music Performance. During my time there, I participated in various ensembles, including their wind ensemble, orchestra, and their opera pit. Currently, I am a grad student at Loyola University New Orleans studying Music Performance for the flute, and I am a regular member of the university's wind ensemble and orchestra. I am also proficient in piano, as I studied it from childhood for about twelve years to accompany my flute studies. One of my greatest accomplishments so far was when I completed a study abroad experience in Toulouse, France. While I was there, I was permitted by the local conservatory to sit in and observe lessons taught by their flute professor, and at the end of the semester, I was able to have a lesson with him. As a teacher, I hope to help my students grow as musicians using the techniques I've learned and experiences I've gained as tools I can draw upon. I'm looking forward to meeting with you.
