Singing requires breath support, vowel formation, and full body energy.  In my lessons, we will begin by addressing issues of breath and body support, and move into basic vocalizes to strengthen and expand range.  A solid singing technique will allow a singer to sing any repertoire they want with confidence and ease from musical theater to opera.

Hi, there! My name is Leigh and I can't wait to work with you! I've been singing my whole life, and have been teaching since 2013.  I have loved helping my students learn the basics of singing, find confidence in their body and voice, and, most importantly, have fun!

 I have a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from the University of Southern California, and I am about to graduate with a Master of Music degree in vocal performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts.  

I believe singing is all about the connection of body and soul, and that a little bit of technique can go a long way, no matter what repertoire you're studying.

I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
