Biology with Leeah R.

Hello! I'll be graduating from Cornell University in May of 2020 with a Bachelor's of Science in Entomology with minors in Education and Cognitive Science. Next fall I'll be beginning my PhD in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior. Since my junior year of high school I've tutored other students in many different subjects, from math to basic computer coding. Most recently, I've been a teaching assistant in entomology courses (introductory insect biology and honeybee biology). I'm extremely passionate about our natural world and the processes that make it all possible! I've done a lot of lab and field work that's focused on the effects of pesticides on pollinators, as well as how other factors influence pollination services. As far as teaching courses goes, I feel very comfortable with many aspects of animal biology (including evolution and ecology) and neuroscience (both mechanistic and cognitive), but I also have a lot of experience with other topics (like cellular biology and genetics).
