I am a guitarist, songwriter/composer, and teacher living in Brooklyn. I have a BA in music from New York University, where I studied Jazz and completed the Classical Theory track with honors. I've been playing guitar for 16 years, and am also proficient on piano, drums, and bass. I perform and tour with bands that play all different kinds of music, everything from the avante-garde to the in-the-pocket. I am also a busy producer, writing and recording solo records of my own, as well as producing and mixing for other projects/people.
For three years I worked at a nonprofit music-outreach organization that provided free private music lessons to local elementary school students. I taught lessons and, for two of those years, ran one chapter of the program. I have experience teaching all ages and skill levels, and am particularly experienced teaching young children.
Lee has an unshakable familiarity with the guitar, and unmistakable clarity as a teacher. No matter what musical background you're coming from, and no matter where you are trying to go, he will help you get there. You'd be hard pressed to find a better teacher.+ Read More
