Violin with Leasa B.

Hi. I have been playing violin since the age of 10 -- that was forty-five years ago! I have played off and on for most of my adult life. My love for violin increased dramatically when I discovered fiddling. I am a fourth-generation fiddler. I have several college degrees and worked for many years as a computer programmer. I later received an elementary education degree, because my true love in life (after music) is teaching. Most of my teaching experience was in high school subjects (all of them!) in the juvenile justice system. I did teach music to kindergartners and had several older private students through Kindercare. For the kids: I am certified in the Mark O'Connor Method, which emphasizes music of the Americas and encourages creativity. Fun!
