I am a sister to 13 siblings both older and younger than me, so I have lots of practice with people of various ages and temperaments. I would like to go to Collage of the Ozarks for a major in cello music when I come of age. I love teaching because my cello is my passion. (His name is Fitz.) I love seeing it become others passion also and helping place that zeal in them for their instrument.
I try to give a fair price for my relatively newly found love of teaching.
I've been playing my cello for nine years now. I have been first chair in the Play and Sing His Praises Home School Orchestra all the way up, excepting one year when I was second ;) The director of the orchestra is my private cello lessons teacher. I love doing lessons with her and I learn MANY excellent teaching tips from her as well.
I've been playing piano for just one more year than my cello. Being taught the instruments has taught me how to teach others. I hope I can help you become the musician you always hoped you could!
P.S. My schedule is flexible. Please contact me with your availability and I'll see what I can do.
As a student at the Orchestra I am put to work as a Student Teacher to help pay off my classes. I teach for four hours every Friday of every week.
Leah is a great cellist, and a passionate teacher. All ways putting forward a challenge that can help one grow. Five stars!
I've known Leah since she began her pursuit of excellency in mastering cello and music. Her steadfastness in focus is demonstrated in her abilities, and especially through her love of teaching and desire to see her students and her peers excell. Leah has a positive approach to all needs and demands; with patience and persistence she always succeeds.+ Read More
Leah is just a really great teacher! She has the perfect balance of kindness and strictness, which is a rare and necessary combination if you want you or your kid to love music and be fantastic at playing it.
I have know Leah for a long time now. She has taught my two children with music and more, she has the patience of a dove and does a great job making sure her students are grasping music to their level of learning. She is very passionate about Cello and music in general, and has a desire to share that with others. She is also very affordable 😄 Let's be honest....music lessons can get really expensive, but since it is her passion she is generous with her prices. Very satisfied parent here!+ Read More

Leah is amazing with kids and is a great teacher! She is very kind and very patient!!
Leah was so very patient with me during my first ever cello lesson. She started very slowly and kept checking for understanding ... and slowed down even more when my 54-year-old brain needed extra time. Leah is a delight to work with. I'm looking forward to my next lesson with her!+ Read More
