*SUMMER MUSIC PROGRAM* Need something to keep the kids busy during the Summer while school is out? I'm here to introduce my 12 week Summer Music Program! It's a great way to get your children engaged in something outside of their electronics that they can really enjoy and apply themselves to. Here are some things you can expect to learn before the 12 weeks are up: Basic fundamentals of music theory, correct and healthy posture applicable to everyday life as well as in practice, how to use the bow (cello), how to tune (cello), discipline in music, and many other things. This will be taught at my music studio space. The address provided is incorrect (It's a Panera), but once you sign up and we get in contact, I will give you the address. It will be in Springfield, Missouri, for sure. ;) Now, some things about me: I have been learning music since I was 6 years old. It was a requirement in our house, but, nonetheless, growing up in a house of musician siblings had me excited to get started. With 13 siblings, you can imagine that our house was always full of some kind of music. Having grown up in that world, I consider myself lucky. I knew I loved music even before I had picked up my first cello. I know not everyone has that wonderful experience. Hopefully, I can help with that. I desire to be the teacher that can assist you in growing a passion for your instrument and the music you can make. It's not an easy road, and I won't pretend like it is. But I will say that it's worth every minute. Every sore finger, tired eye, and melted brain is proof of your hard work and determination. To me, they are trophies; not obstacles.

We love Leah! She is kind, relatable, and extremely patient. She taught my son how to play the piano, and my daughter the cello. I would highly recommend Leah to anyone who has kids.
Leah is great and is helping my 13 yo daughter get back to playing the cello! Her first lesson was great!
Leah is great! Our first lesson was a huge success. She was able to assist with tuning my son's cello. We look forward to our next lesson.
