I am a sister to 13 siblings both older and younger than me, so I have lots of practice with people of various ages and temperaments. I would like to go to Collage of the Ozarks for a major in cello music when I come of age. I love teaching because my cello is my passion. (His name is Nelson.) I love seeing it become others passion also and helping place that zeal in them for their instrument.
I try to give a fair price for my relatively newly found love of teaching.
I've been playing my cello for close to eight years now. I have been first chair in the Play and Sing His Praises Home School Orchestra all the way up, excepting my highest ranking class where I am second. The director of the orchestra is my private cello lessons teacher. I love doing lessons with her and I learn MANY excellent teaching tips from her as well.
I've been playing piano for just one more year than my cello. Being taught the instruments has taught me how to teach others. I hope I can help you become the musician you always hoped you could!
WARNING: I will cause you to practice! :)
P.S. My schedule is flexible. Please contact me with your availability and I'll see what I can do.
As a student at the Orchestra I am put to work as a Student Teacher to help pay off my classes. I teach for four hours every Friday of every week.
My daughter loves her and she is so encouraging to her.
I am Leah's teacher and director of the Orchestras where she attends. Leah is a natural as a teacher. She is enthusiastic, has high expectations, and is a wonderful, positive role model. I would highly recommend Leah as a cello teacher to all beginner and intermediate cello students.+ Read More
Awesome teacher!! Very patient.
Leah is an awesome musician and very, very talented. She is a really good teacher. She is very smart, fun, and knowledgeable in her music. Her voice range is excellent, and she can play several instruments. Leah rocks!
Leah is very kind, and really good with kids!
I am not a student of Leah's, but I have been a teacher right beside her since she has started teaching. I have known Leah for many many years, and I must say, she has helped me a lot in being a Co teacher. She is great with students of any age. Many times I was overwhelmed with crowd control, and she stepped in eagerly and cheerfully to help teach.+ Read More
