English (ESL) with Lea D.

My name is Leopolina , but everyone calls me Lea. I was also an ESL student back in 2009 and know how hard and intimidating it can get at times. That is why i want to help you. I shift my tutoring with each students needs, because everyone has a different speed, techniques and examples that help them learn the best. I am very friendly and have been helping kids learn for a long time. Weather it was coaching a Volleyball team or tutoring someone ; it is something i enjoy. I am very friendly and my top priority is making my students comfortable and give them a relaxed and enjoyable learning experience so that they want to keep learning. I love helping others achieve their goals and can connect on a personal level because i have been there, and i want to help others learn and get better at English and show them that learning a language does not have to be hard and intimidating. It can be fun and relaxing and enjoyable when you have a tutor who will use examples of things that are interesting to you in life so that you learn while having fun and retain the most information possible. My greatest joy is seeing my students get better at what they are learning , it makes me so proud and happy to be able to help someone in that way; so that is what i aspire for with each student i take on. We set weekly goals and from there we take off on an adventure that is learning a new language.
