English (ESL) with Lavontae R.

I am a professional ESL tutor. I graduated from the University of New Haven with a Masters of Investigations concentrating in the criminal sector. I have experience substitute teaching for 2 years in various subjects, and I have experience tutoring non-native English speakers online. My teaching style focuses on pronunciation, basic grammar, preparing for the IELTS Speaking & Writing exam, Conversational English, Phrasal Verbs & Idioms. I love conversing about current world topics and simply having fun free-talk. Most students can expect to improve week to week while studying with me. I will provide assignments to do during class and outside of class so students can continuously practice on improving their English skills. My ultimate goal is to make sure all students gain confidence while speaking to others, learn new vocabulary, correctly pronouncing words, and to have the ability to write e-mails, essays or letters either to friends or clients at work.
