Hello! I am a skilled teacher with a passion for helping others learn and excel! I hold my bachelor's degrees in music education and vocal performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I completed my master's degree in vocal performance from the University of North Texas. I have been teaching over 15 years. I tailor instruction to your need. I can help you become a stronger musician, be ready for performances and auditions, prepare for special occasions, competitions, recitals, concerts and more! I am able to teach online lessons via several formats and enjoy doing so! I am also very interested in nutrition and cooking. I have thus studied these areas and love to share this knowledge with others. I can help you with healthy eating, meal planning and understanding nutrients to maximize your nutrition. Cooking is endless....I can show you many, many types. Just ask! My availability frequently changes. Please message me to ask about days and times if you would like to schedule. If you are interested in cooking, please send me a message. I am sometimes able to accommodate cooking lessons on Sundays given that they take longer. Thank you! *** Specialties *** Classical, Opera, Broadway, Sacred, Art Song, Church Music Beginning and intermediate piano Cooking/Meal Planning and Prep for special diets - keto, paleo, GAPS, Mediterranean, GFCF/avoiding allergenic foods and more!

She has learned (through listening and patience) what I need to work on during the previous lessons and we're focusing on these issues during class. She's very knowledgeable and easily transfers that to me. Very pleasant to work with !

1st lesson went great! Ms. Depauw is knowledgeable with music theory, and techniques that I am using to help me re-learn sharps, this includes practicing scales (groan). I look forward to working with Ms. Depauw to help me improve my playing, and since I play for my Church, I know they will appreciate the lessons. LOL
