There are many types of acting teachers and drama coaches out there to choose from. If you'd like to work with someone highly trained, experienced and motivated to get your career started or progressing I'd like to help. I bring over 20 years of principle Film, TV & Stage work with some of the biggest and brightest talents in the business. I love what I do and I've learnt from the best, allow me to help you grow as an artist, navigate the industry and ultimately succeed in this competitive field. In addition I offer what I like to call "Actor-Life Coaching" which simply means I will be your support system. Being an actor is a solitary pursuit filled with doubt, frustration and many questions. I've come to the conclusion that all actors need someone with experience and insight who is willing to listen & share. Unfortunately until now this is not a service easily obtained, so they will enter a "class" in hopes of that kind of support yet never receive it. I want you to be informed, confident and have a strategy. So if you are in need of someone constructive who understands "the actor life" that is a valid need, just as important as "class". I'm here for you.

Laurence is a very insightful, thoughtful and experienced teacher. Having worked in, and studied both film and theatre he has wealth of knowledge to share. Go to him if you have that audition you really want to nail or are feeling like your’ s lost your mojo.

Acting is so much more than being a great actor for the role. I was looking for a teacher with a great resume who could also share more about the whole experience. Laurence has been acting for over 25 years has that real experience and longevity in the field. He was warm, encouraging and also challenged me in a great way. I was a bit intimidated at first but he made it fun. Highly recommend!

    Acting Teacher, Actor Life Coach

    Jun, 1991 - Oct, 2021

    sag-aftra-aea

I began my career age 10 in NYC with the First All Children's Theater. By age 15 I was admitted into the world famous Performing Arts High School depicted in the film & tv show "FAME". I graduated with the prestigious "Student-Alumni Award" for best actor as well as receiving an award from the National foundation for the Arts for best actor in its annual nationwide competition. These honors lead to a full scholarship at S.U.N.Y Purchase conservatory for the arts. After my eight years of training I signed with my first talent agent and have been working with A-list actors & directors for over 20 years. The key for me is simple, if you truly love what you do there is no limit to what you can do. Never stop learning and never stop sharing what you've learned. It takes more than talent & desire to break through in show business, otherwise everyone would be successful. I'd like to share what I've learnt with you "dreams do come true" with the proper training & strategy. My class will be tailor made just for you and your goals, and we'll achieve them together.
