English (ESL) with Lauren Z.

Hi! My name is Lauren. I'm from the US and I'm 22 years old! I love helping kids learn English. I've been working with children for the past 6 years now, primarily teaching English but also providing other childcare roles. I've worked with teaching kids ages 4-16. I love making my classes very engaging and fun. I use lots of communication and feedback and individualize the support I offer to each student. I'm currently attending University while teaching English and have recently earned my TEFL certificate after a 120-hour course I love to converse with people in all levels of language. I'm very patient with beginners. I like to teach in an immersive conversational style. For adults, this means conversations based on language level. For kids this could mean reading stories, doing crafts, or even playing games in English. I like to incorporate fun topics that each individual enjoys by getting to know them and talking about them when meeting together. I make each lesson very individualized to the student(s). I want to make sure that I understand each student's needs and goals so that I can be the most effective teacher for them
