Musical Theater with Lauren S.

I am an active professional Actor, Singer, and Dancer with almost 10 years of experience performing professionally! I received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Western Carolina University and am currently performing at a dinner theatre in SW Virginia. I have had the joy of working in New York City on Off and Off-Off Broadway with some of the top people in the business. Some New York City credits include "Vestments of the Gods" (produced for FringeNYC by Lin-Manuel Miranda), "Follies" (choreographed by Sara Brians, Matilda resident choreographer, for Astoria Performing Arts Center) and "The Berenstain Bears: In Family Matters". Regionally I have had the opportunity to play a variety of roles such as Lily St. Regis in "Annie", Belle in "A Christmas Carol", Kathleen in "Ragtime", Dora Bailey/Miss Dinsmore in "Singin' in the Rain", and a Hot Box Girl/Sarah Brown u/s in "Guys and Dolls" to name a few. I have also toured across the with "The Berenstain Bears" playing Mama Bear. Between contracts, I have spent many years teaching dance ballet, tap, musical theatre, and hip hop to children 18 months to 7 years old at a dance school in Manhattan. I have such a great passion for performance and I constantly look forward to sharing it current and new students alike!
