Acoustic Guitar with Lauren S.

Lauren Sum teaches all ages from beginner to intermediate level. Teaching music is one of Lauren's passions in life and she wholeheartedly believes that music can change lives for the better. Her goal and emphasis in teaching is to help students enjoy their music experience, learning music theory, technique, home recording, songwriting and playing the music they love. Lauren is a singer/songwriter and music has always been her inspiration and heartbeat. At the age of three, she started playing piano. She then learned to sing, play the violin, guitar and ukulele. She found her voice by singing in several choirs, one of which includes ten years with the International Children's Choir. Her experience also consists of being a school show choir pianist, school orchestra violinist, busking guitarist in downtown Salt Lake City, recording in music studios and performing at various events.
