    About Lauren S.

    Lauren has a passion for music and a love of teaching. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from Capital University and her Master of Music degree in vocal performance and pedagogy from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. Lauren has performed as a chorister with many organizations including the Spoleto Festival U.S.A. and Opera Philadelphia. As a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir, Lauren performed several major works with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic and the Berlin Philharmonic. As a student, Lauren sang several operatic roles including: Third Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Bradamante (Alcina), Hippolyta (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), The Fairy Queen (Iolanthe) and Antonia’s Mother (Les Contes d’Hoffmann). Lauren currently teaches at Michelle Tuesday Music School 6 days a week. Lauren resides in Mount Vernon where she is a member of the Heritage Singers.
