I am a professional composer of concert music (orchestra, choir, band, chamber ensemble, and more). My works have been performed around the US and internationally. I have been commissioned by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Johnstone Fund for New Music, the Central Ohio Symphony, and more. I also assist in arrangements and engraving for other composer and directors.

I taught Music Theory I and II to college undergraduate students. We covered the fundamentals of music literacy, developed their ear training and sightsinging skills, and analyzed and composed music of the Common Practice Period from Bach through Mozart.

Tajci & Matthew Cameron

I served as a traveling homeschool teacher to three boys (initially in grades 2, 5, & 7) as we toured the country with their family performing concerts of Christian music.

Tajci / Cameron Productions

I toured regularly with Tajci across the country for two years, and now collaborate with her on occasional concerts. I performed as a solo violinist and backup vocalist. I also learned how to setup and run a professional sound system and gained a rudimentary knowledge of theater lighting. Occasionally, I act as assistant road manager when our producer cannot travel with us, coordinating many aspects of concert logistics.

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) is a membership association of more than 480,000 US composers, songwriters, lyricists and music publishers. The ASCAP is committed to nurturing music makers throughout their careers.

National Association for Music Education (NAfME), among the world’s largest arts education organizations, is the only association that addresses all aspects of music education. NAfME advocates at the local, state, and national levels; provides resources for teachers, parents, and administrators; hosts professional development events; and offers a variety of opportunities for students and teachers. The Association orchestrates success for millions of students nationwide and has supported music educators at all teaching levels for more than a century. Mu Phi Epsilon (ΜΦΕ) is a co-ed international professional music fraternity. Today, Mu Phi Epsilon has chapters both nationally and internationally. The fraternity supports achievement in music through the awarding of grants and scholarships, as well as music competitions, concerts, and summer music programs. Much of this work has been supported by the Mu Phi Epsilon Foundation, an organization that has been in existence since 1963, as well as fundraising and donations.
