I have been teaching in southern California since 2002 and recently relocated to Orange County. I have worked with students of all ages and experience levels and was on the faculty for the Hollywood Academy of Music in 2006-2007 and the Mosaic Music School in 2012-2013. I was also the orchestra coach for the Aviara Middle School and Carlsbad High School. Many of my students have won scholarship awards, and have scored superior in music festivals. I studied the violin at the Eastman School of Music and Manhattan School of Music (Magna Cum Laude) as an undergraduate and received a masters degree from USC where I was recognized as an outstanding graduate in 2008. I am currently a tenured member of both the Fresno Philharmonic and the Santa Barbara Symphony. I have also performed with Orchestra Nova of San Diego, Classics 4 Kids of San Diego, the San Bernardino Symphony, the California Chamber Orchestra of Temecula, and International Filharmonia of Tijuana, Mexico. Every student is under a music curriculum that consists of: technique (scales, etudes, exercises), rhythm, sight-reading, and standard solo repertoire. Each student is unique though and I strive to work with the student and/or parents on each of their desired goals.
