Opera Voice with Lauren M.

I earned my Bachelor of Music degree in Voice from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. While at Eastman, I developed a passion for art song as well as opera. I was selected as a finalist for the Jesse Kneisel Lieder Competition, and I won first place in the Syracuse Civic Morning Musicals Competition. I moved to Cincinnati to study voice and opera at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. In 2015, I won first place in the Nebraska District of the Metropolitan Opera National Council auditions. I sing with a variety of Cincinnati-based groups, including Collegium Cincinnati, Cincinnati Opera, and Vocal Arts Ensemble Cincinnati. I also have a passion for bringing arts to the community; I have been working with Roundabout Opera for Kids: Cincy for the past few years. Although my focus has been in classical and opera, I am happy to help you sing your best on anything! I look forward to hearing from you!
