    Through my experience as a voice student as well as through my experience being a teacher, one observation stands true: We all learn better if we are having fun. I teach through positive encouragement, patience, and joking around if it's what the situation calls for! I am also a firm believer in constructive criticism and achieving a great balance of that with each of my students according to their needs. My philosophy is to always solidify healthy technique and grow as a vocalist.

    Lauren really helped me develop some strong vocal techniques. I had no training, but I’ve always enjoyed singing. Now instead of just singing along with the congregation at church, I’m doing a solo with the piano player! She built up my confidence with her cheerful manner, but also insisted on diligent practice so I could get achieve my goals. Working with Lauren is a distinct pleasure!

    I'm currently taking lessons from Lauren, and she's one of the best teachers I have ever used. The progress I have made in my voice skills has surpassed my expectations. She's such a heartwarming individual who I felt comfortable with almost immediately. She also has a great sense of humor and explains all easily and effectively. Thanks so much, Lauren!     My daughter (12 years old) took lessons for a year during the pandemic. They had so much fun while learning new songs my daughter would have never thought of singing. Her voice has grown stronger, relaxed and effortless. Wow! I may even take lessons myself. Lauren is very patient and good natured. She has a good time but makes sure you're learning about your own voice and what you can accomplish. Thank you, Lauren!
