Acting with Lauren G.

I have been studying theatre for many years. I have done everything from Shakespeare to light design. I am passionate about what I do and what I teach. I am in the international thespian society and active in the local theatre community. I enjoy directing shows, writing monologues and teaching acting one-on-one. I enjoy traveling with my family and watching shows in different cities. I believe everything is a learning experience and I hope to enhance my student's acting skills. I have worked with many directors that have written many plays, short stories and have various acting backgrounds. I enjoy various show genres; however, my favorites are contemporary, dramatic, and Shakespeare. "The point of theatre is transformation: to make an extraordinary event out of ordinary material right in front of an audience's eyes. Where the germ of the idea came from is pretty much irrelevant. What matters to every theatre maker I know is speaking clearly to the audience 'right now.'"
