Private Coaching For Actors: 
Strong auditioning is vital in introducing an actor’s best self and work. It will ultimately separate them from amateur to professional. Actors will learn certain aspects of the audition process, such as how to enter a room, where to look, how to begin and finish their monologue, etc. They will study rich material and learn how to perform with freedom and ease. During this process, actors will dive deep into their characters and take their skills to the next level.


Virtual Acting Class: Acting in the Big Apple! Commercial, Voiceover, and Film! 
Students will learn all kinds of acting in the TV and Film world! In this class, we will focus on how to approach copy and scripts from real life commercials, television, movies, and voiceovers. We will work on the audition process, so that actors will not only feel confident in their work, but will also leave a lasting impression on casting directors. Whether you are serious about pursuing the acting industry, or you just want to try on a new hat and have fun, this class is worth your while!

Lauren is a Calhoun alumnus and graduated with a BFA in acting at Emerson College. She substitutes acting in all divisions at the Calhoun School and teaches on-camera acting workshops at various workshops around the city. Lauren is an emerging actor and has been in multiple shows, films, and commercials. Some credits include Sarah Regan in Harper Regan at Terry Schreiber Theatre with director and acting guru, Terry Schreiber, Philomele in The Love of the Nightingale at The Jackie Liebergott Black Box, and Kate in Inside Himself at The Midtown International Film Festival. Film credits include Professional Short Summer Breeze (Lead - Best Actress at the Massachusetts Independent Film Festival), Indie Horror Film The Canyonlands (Supporting), and Monster’s Inside Me (Co-Star) at Optomen Productions.

I was really looking forward to writing a review on my instructor, because she really has been my favorite. I don’t typically enjoy taking lessons, but Lauren has made them fun. She’s personable, kind and insightful. Her passion for acting comes through and is engaging. I have struggled with ADHD since I was a kid, so it takes a lot for me to remain engaged. Lauren was sensitive to this information, she has been so patient with me and truly goes the extra mile to make sure I get the most out of every session. I would recommend her to anyone looking to sharpen their talent. Not only is she an excellent teacher, she’s also fun to get to spend time with. I look forward to continue learning from her.
