Join my Center City studio! I believe in teaching healthy and effective singing, emphasizing character and intention, and incorporating general music theory.
I have taught kids, high schoolers, and young adults, but I feel comfortable teaching all levels! I also teach piano and music theory to beginner and intermediate levels.
I have years of performing and teaching experience, and am constantly learning and growing in both fields. I have sung a variety of roles in opera and musical theater throughout New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Louisiana, as well as solo work in Boston's Symphony Hall and the Museum of Art. I also taught choir on top of voice/piano lessons.
I attended LSU for my undergraduate degrees in Voice Performance as well as Music Education, and recently graduated from The Boston Conservatory with my MM in Voice Performance, and a Professional Studies Certificate. I also have several years studying voice under an Alexander Technical teacher.

Lauren is very knowledgeable about what songs are best for you and your particular voice, as well as what audition panels want to hear. Very patient and smart!
Took from Lauren to figure out how to sing, outside of just my shower. She is wonderful. Knows the details of the voice, and can explain it well to beginners. She’s also very patient and kind and encourages me to try, even if it’s not good. Thanks Lauren!+ Read More
Great overall instructor! Brought my daughter as a beginner pianist just looking to understand the instrument. Ms Lauren not only focused on notes and general theory, but also musical ideas and intention. Definitely recommend!
I really enjoy Lauren’s teaching style. Highly recommend to students of all levels!
