I am a trained opera singer, pianist and performer. I sing for all kinds of audiences ranging from the collegiate level to weddings and even open mic nights. I was a part of auditioned ensembles from High School to College. I sang with the Winthrop Jazz Voices, Honors Choir and the South Carolina Al-state Choir. I received my Bachelors Degree in Music from Winthrop University. I can offer my students experience with all kinds of music styles. I am a passionate Montessori Teacher who has taught professionally in the classroom for five years. Teaching students how to read music and perform musically is my key goal. I am most comfortable teaching beginning piano and voice lessons to ages 6-12 because I feel that I can motivate these students best. However, if you are a true beginner of any age, I am happy to give you lessons. I have always enjoyed singing and performing music from as long as I can remember. I was fortunate to have a supportive family that let me take voice and piano lessons. If your child seems to have a natural interest in singing or playing the piano, try lessons. Music lessons help children gain confidence, persevere through hard work, gain new skills and build a foundation of excellence in all areas of their life.
