Learn to compose and play great music music from a professional pianist.

I am a professional pianist with a bachelor's degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, and advanced skills in theory and aural training. I am able to teach many skills of musicianship. Your student will gain more than just notes and counts in my studio, they will understand the structure of the music they are playing. I also teach students to improvise and compose so they are able to play beyond sheet music. Students will also participate in group classes where they will gain extra performing experience and learn to work with others. I teach students ranging from beginning to advanced levels of playing. I teach on my six-foot grand piano in my home-studio. Students get the experience of playing on a concert piano while also learning in the comfort of a home environment. Parents/guardians are more than welcome to observe lessons. I also offer lessons online and have been teaching online lessons for over a year. Online lesson utilize Zoom and Google Drive so they are accessible from most devices!

Laura is a dynamite piano instructor! She cares deeply about the power of music and very effectively teaches others how to enjoy expression of music on the piano. Her knowledge of the piano is superb. Laura will provide a nurturing environment to a beginning student and has the skills to challenge and improve a piano student at any level.
