Want help starting and completing a project? I've got some ideas! Check out my photos for examples of projects I've taught before. We can talk about what you need in terms of prerequisites, supplies, and time! The best part is, you'll have a beautiful, hand-knit project finished and ready to wear or gift! I started knitting over ten years ago, and I've been crocheting for over fifteen years now! I love learning new techniques and pushing the limits of what I can do! I've made tons of scarves, hats, and mitts, but I've also made blankets, ornaments, and others. I teach students who have never knitted/crocheted before, or students who have experience and just want help with a specific pattern, or students who want to push the limits and try something new! I love knitting patterns with interesting textures, and my favorite style is mosaic colorwork! Reach out and we can figure out a plan that works well for you!

    Experience

    Instructor

    Oct, 2018 - Present

    Purls of Wisdom

I teach one-on-one classes up to classes of 8 learners, and we typically go through a type of knitting or a project. I've taught brioche knitting, mosaic knitting, knitting in the round, how to switch colors, how to increase the number of stitches in your work, and more.

    Knitting Instructor (Apart from TakeLessons)

    Sep, 2018 - Present

    Self-Employed

Taught a 3-session class of 9 adult students. They learned to cast on a project, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, how to fix a dropped stitch, and how to finish a project. Some students chose to pick a pattern and work through it during the course. I've also taught knitting classes on single-color brioche knitting, as well as two-color brioche knitting in the round, worked flat, and with decreases.
