Laura Mozena graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors degree in Violin Performance where she studied violin and participated in the long term Suzuki Teacher Training Program with Louise Scott, Karen Hallberg, and Susan Baer. Laura has also taken multiple Short Term Suzuki Teacher Training courses and is a registered Suzuki Teacher. Laura has performed with such orchestras as The Flagstaff Symphony, The Palm Beach Pops, Treasure Coast Opera Orchestra, The Wheeling Symphony and PCPC Orchestra. Miss Laura's students have performed at the Kravis Center for "Beyond the Stage" and the Harriet Himmel Theatre in Florida . Some of her students have played the Star Spangled Banner at the Dean Stadium for a Cardinals vs. Marlins game. Laura was the artistic director and violin teacher with Lighthouse Suzuki Strings in Stuart and Jupiter Florida for 11 years. Most recently, Laura has been working with the Grace Notes Music Foundation to help provide scholarships to students for music lessons. She enjoys teaching and playing fiddle music as well as classical. Currently, Laura teaches Suzuki violin and fiddle lessons online to students of all ages and levels.
