Opera Voice with Laura L.

I am a classically trained coloratura soprano. My specialty is Opera, though I have performed a lot of Musical Theater. At the moment I teach in a Musical Theater academy. I like to focus on the voice, but I make special emphasis in the overall performance. I like to dive in the acting, in order to achieve a complete and polished result. I believe "great auditioning" is a skill that all performers must have in order to get the job and I like to teach my students how to audition. I believe in teaching from experience and preparing my students for the real world. I have a Bachelors and a Masters in Voice Performance. I also have experience working in a few top Opera Houses and many Theaters. I love to teach, I believe that we need to prepare the future generations so they may give back to society, and in order to do this, they need to be taught with structure, sensitivity to the student's preferences in genre and style and with lots of enthusiasm and good vibes.
