Laura King is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and a Registered Suzuki teacher in Volumes 1, 2 and 3. She also studied extensively for two years under Moshe Neumann in Cincinnati, OH, who studied with Dr. Suzuki in Japan and John Kendall for three years. Laura has taught the Suzuki Method over twenty-three, using an approach which integrates traditional note reading along with the Suzuki Method. She challenges her students to develop a broad range of repertoire from both the Suzuki method and multi-cultural fiddle/folk tunes, as well as growing in ability to sight read. Having brought her own four children through twelve years of Suzuki music lessons and home practice, she understands the many challenges and joys that study can bring to busy families.
