I have over twenty years of experience working with children and their families . . . and was Project Lead for the development of a hands-on curriculum for early childhood music that has been used all over the country! Beginner lessons with me can include not only an introduction to the keyboard, and entry into learning piano and musical notation, but explorations of musical concepts like steady beat, experiences with rhythm or movement, and opportunities to try out or even make other music instruments. As a graduate of the New England Conservatory Certificate Program, I have been trained in piano, music theory and choral arts. In addition to piano, I play the alto and soprano recorders, accordion and baritone ukulele. I am also a child development professional who continues to work at the national level. I look forward to working directly with you to individualize piano and music lessons to suit your learning style and goals!
