Singing with Larisa B.

Larisa Bainton, soprano, has been an active performer and teacher in the Boston area for the past 2 years. She received her Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music in 2016 and is currently working towards her Masters in Vocal Pedagogy at NEC. Larisa has been teaching group music classes and private lessons since 2011, where she worked at a local music school in her hometown. Along with her musical background, Larisa holds a Bachelors degree in Cognitive Science. Her teaching philosophies are entirely evidence-based. In voice lessons you can expect to learn vocal warm ups specified to your needs, age and skill-level appropriate repertoire, and musicianship skills that will enable you to practice and perform music on your own. In the Boston area Larisa has performed with Opera 51, MassOpera (formerly MetroWest), New England Conservatory Opera Theater, and Promenade Opera Project. Globally she has performed with OperaWorks in California, in Hawaii with the Hawaii Performing Arts Center, and in Austria with the American International School of Music.
