I am the owner of Sew Into It Lessons and a public school teacher. Sewing has always been a major part of my life. I began sewing at the age of 7. I followed my passion swing and design to Los Angeles to American Intercontinental University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Design and Marketing in 2007. My fashion design and the industry includes studying abroad and interning with a London based couture designer. I have worked for a children's clothing manufacturer in Santa Monica, as well as a popular open design studio in Santa Monica. I have also had the experience of designing and manufacturing a line of clothing. My other ongoing personal work includes making custom clothing for private clients and alteration work. My sewing lessons travel to you. They are taught in the comfort of your home or office. Choose to begin learning with hand sewing lessons, beginner sewing lessons (sewing on the sewing machine), intermediate lessons (learn to sew simple garments together), advanced lessons (learn more advanced sewing techniques and sew more technically detailed garments), or designer pattern making. These lessons are tailored to you, so may choose to work on one level until you are comfortable to move on to the next skill set. I hope to sew with you soon!
