Lance first became interested in music at a young age. He originally played percussion and drum set and was very involved with his High School Band and Jazz Ensemble. While playing percussion in school he was following his true passion at home; guitar. He later attended the University of Evansville majoring in Music Management and Classical Guitar. While studying at college he worked in many facets of the music industry. Lance taught lessons and was a recording tech at a local music studio, worked in music instrument retail, played professionally for several musical productions, and played all across town in a band he co-founded. He also was involved in many university ensembles including Classical guitar ensemble, Jazz ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and University band. Upon graduating he moved to Nashville, TN with his band and recorded a full length album. He also worked in music stores, taught private lessons, and picked up a job with the Nashville Symphony. Lance later moved to Chicago, IL and played with several different music groups of many different genres. He currently works with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Lance can instruct on several different instruments including Acoustic or Electric guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Mandolin, Harmonica, and several other stringed instruments.
